Abstract
Esta invención hace uso de un servicio de difusión para transmitir adecuadamente información de advertencia de emergencia. Un dispositivo de transmisión (200) (estación de difusión) inserta señalización de información de advertencia de emergencia en forma de una señal de activación y usa una estructura de paquete de capa física para transmitir un mensaje de información de advertencia de emergencia que indica la escala (categoría) de un desastre, el tipo del desastre, el tiempo del desastre, la ubicación del desastre, información de versión y similar. Incluso un dispositivo de recepción simple de bajo costo (300) provisto con una antena de difusión y un demodulador puede recibir dicho mensaje de información de advertencia de emergencia. Un tablero de señal digital o luces de la calle se pueden usar para desplegar direcciones en las cuales evacuar o mapas o rutas para áreas de evacuación, y las luces de la calle se pueden usar para indicar rutas de evacuación.
