Abstract
Se describe un proceso de fabricación de un artículo hueco de vidrio que incluye al menos una pared lateral (42) de espesor pequeño, el procedimiento en el cual: se introduce en un molde de pieza en bruto al menos una pieza en tosco de vidrio fundido, se forma en el molde de pieza en bruto una preforma del artículo a partir de la pieza en tosco, se transfiere la preforma del artículo en un molde de acabado, y se forma el artículo en el molde de acabado. Durante formación del artículo, se dirige un excedente de vidrio hacia el exterior de la pared lateral del artículo para formar un curvado (43) convexo, y se elimina el curvado para darle a la pared lateral del artículo un espesor sensiblemente constante. Se describen también la instalación y los productos correspondientes.
