Abstract
Un vehículo incluye un sistema de comunicación. El sistema de comunicación incluye al menos un controlador y puede incluir un transceptor de RF. El controlador está configurado para recibir una señal de auxilio que incluye información de emergencia y un recuento de transmisiones. El controlador está configurado para responder, cuando el recuento de transmisiones es menor que un número predeterminado y la ubicación del vehículo es mayor que una distancia predeterminada alejada de una ubicación de transmisión y una ubicación de origen de la señal de auxilio, al lograr que la información de emergencia se transmita con un recuento de transmisiones aumentado. El controlador puede además estar configurado para responder a la ubicación del vehículo entre la ubicación de origen y al menos una ubicación de transmisión mediante la detención de la transmisión de la información de emergencia.
