Abstract
Se proporciona una mayor precisión en el manejo de carga por medio de un bastidor de izado (306) que incluye un sensor de distancia (308a, 308b) que transmite las señales ópticas. La carga manejada (312) incluye una pluralidad de lados interconectados (312a, 312b). Las direcciones de transmisión de las señales ópticas se seleccionan y las distancias se miden por medio de las señales ópticas reflejadas que se transmiten en las direcciones seleccionadas. Las distancias medidas se usan para determinar una línea de referencia que coincide con una forma de al menos uno de los lados interconectados (312a, 312b) de la carga (312).
