Abstract
La invención se refiere a un método para producir una pieza de metal laminar compuesto que tiene al menos una región metálica partir de una pieza de metal laminar compuesto que tiene dos hojas de cubierta exterior de metal y al menos una capa que está dispuesta entre las hojas de cubierta y consiste de material plástico. El objeto de proporcionar un método y una herramienta de formación, mediante el cual piezas de metal laminar compuesto formadas complejas se pueden producir fácilmente en unos pocos pasos y que todavía tienen regiones metálicas que pueden ser usadas para unirse a otras piezas, por ejemplo, se logra por un método en el que - una pieza en bruto de metal laminar compuesto se introduce en una herramienta de formación que tiene dos mitades de matriz, - en la herramienta de formación o antes de que la pieza en bruto de metal laminar compuesto se introduzca en la herramienta de formación, al menos una región seleccionada de dicha pieza en bruto se calienta de tal manera que la capa de plástico dispuesta entre las capas de cubierta exteriores se suavice allí, - usando la herramienta de conformación, mediante la aplicación de una fuerza a por lo menos una capa de cubierta exterior, las hojas de cubierta se presionan una contra la otra en ciertos puntos o en ciertas áreas en esta región de manera que la capa de plástico salga de la región sujeta a una fuerza y una región metálica se produzca, y - posteriormente a la aplicación de la fuerza o al mismo tiempo que la aplicación de la fuerza, ambas hojas de cubierta se unen entre sí al menos en ciertas áreas o en ciertos puntos en la región aplastada.
