Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a un aparato de soporte de trocar para soportar un trocar que tiene un manguito del trocar mientras el manguito del trocar se extiende a través de una pared del cuerpo de un paciente, el soporte comprende un elemento separado dispuesto para fijarse al trocar y que comprende: un miembro de apoyo configurado para ser recibido sobre una superficie exterior del manguito del trocar, el miembro de apoyo está dispuesto para ser ajustable longitudinalmente del manguito del trocar para estar situado en una posición seleccionada; el por lo menos un miembro inflable se extiende alrededor del manguito del trocar que puede ser inflado a un tamaño predeterminado por una fuente de fluido; el por lo menos un miembro inflable está dispuesto para montarse sobre el manguito del trocar en una posición separada del miembro de apoyo, de tal manera que el por lo menos un miembro inflable sobre el manguito del trocar puede ser insertado, mientras el miembro inflable está desinflado, a través de una incisión en la pared del cuerpo y puede ser inflado cuando es insertado para acoplarse a una superficie interior de la pared del cuerpo y de tal manera que el miembro de apoyo pueda ser movido a una posición para sostener la pared del cuerpo entre el miembro de apoyo y el por lo menos un miembro inflable; en donde la fuente de fluido provee un volumen fijo del fluido que permite inflación sólo a un tamaño fijo; en donde la fuente de fluido comprende una bomba compresible manualmente situada sobre el soporte de trocar; en donde la bomba incluye una traba que lo mantiene comprimido para mantener la inflación hasta que la extracción es requerida, hasta que la traba es liberada; y en donde se proporciona un resorte para retraer la bomba y extraer el volumen fijo del fluido desde el miembro inflable cuando la traba es liberada.
