Abstract
La presente invención se relaciona con la selección de fuente de sincronización de entre varias fuentes de sincronización las cuales incluyen fuentes para determinación de la señal de sincronización a partir de la red como por ejemplo estaciones de base (nodos de red) o equipos de usuario los cuales reciben la señal de sincronización posiblemente sobre otros saltos a partir de la estación base, y los cuales incluyen además fuentes las cuales no determinan su señal de sincronización a partir de la red; la selección de la fuente de sincronización se realiza al seleccionar la fuente con la señal de sincronización más confiable en base en una métrica calculada para cada una de las fuentes consideradas; en particular, la métrica se basa en el tipo de fuente, número de saltos entre la red y la fuente y/o la calidad de señal recibida; después de seleccionar la fuente, la temporización del dispositivo se adapta en concordancia.
