Abstract
La presente descripción provee métodos implementados en ANs para mantener la sincronización en una red de acceso de radio utilizando un mecanismo de sincronización jerárquica. Uno de los métodos es implementado en un AN en el nivel de sincronización 1 y comprende detectar que un AN en el nivel de sincronización 0 está abajo e iniciar un procedimiento de retardo aleatorio. El método comprende además determinar si una primera señal de sincronización generada en otro AN en el nivel de sincronización 1 es recibida durante el procedimiento de retardo aleatorio. Si se determina que no se recibe una primera señal de sincronización durante el procedimiento de retardo aleatorio, una segunda señal de sincronización que provee una referencia de sincronización es generada y difundida una vez que se completa el procedimiento de retardo aleatorio. La presente descripción también provee ANs para mantener la sincronización en una red de acceso de radio utilizando un mecanismo de sincronización jerárquica.
