Abstract
Una composición de poliolefina despojadora de oxígeno y métodos para hacer la misma se describen en la presente. En un enfoque, la composición incluye una matriz de poliolefina no polar continua teniendo dominios despojadores de oxígeno dispersos en la misma. Los dominios despojadores de oxígeno incluyen un polímero oxidable, un catalizador de metal de transición o sal del mismo, y un promotor catalítico efectivo para enlazarse con oxígeno pasando a través de la matriz de poliolefina no polar continua. Los dominios despojadores de oxígeno formando una región polar discreta dentro de la matriz de poliolefina no polar continua. La composición además incluye un compatibilizador polimérico teniendo una fracción polar y una fracción no polar y en cantidades efectivas para dispersar de manera uniforme los dominios despojadores de oxígeno polares en la matriz de poliolefina no polar continua.
