Abstract
Un sistema de filtro y sensor de humedad se aloja dentro de un barril cilíndrico que se coloca en una corriente de gas de proceso tal como gas de combustión. Una porción del gas de combustión de muestra se conduce a través del barril y del montaje de filtro más allá del sensor localizado dentro del filtro, de modo que se pueden tomar mediciones exactas de la humedad. La materia indeseada en partículas del gas de combustión acumulada en la superficie exterior del filtro se expulsa por el gas de purga, impulsado, admitido en el filtro para invertir el flujo a través del filtro. En una modalidad, una cámara de intercambio de calor precalienta el gas de purga. En otra modalidad, el gas impulsado se suministra por un pistón de vaivén, contiguo con el volumen interno del filtro que invierte el flujo a través del filtro usando el gas de proceso.
