Abstract
Un dispositivo para generar por lo menos una incisión tipo hendidura continua (42) desde la superficie posterior (48) con respecto a la superficie anterior (46) de la córnea (44) de un ojo humano incluye un dispositivo láser para generar por lo menos una parte de la incisión con radiación láser pulsada enfocada, el dispositivo láser incluye componentes controlables para ajustar la ubicación del enfoque, una computadora de control para controlar estos componentes, y también un programa de control para la computadora de control; el programa de control contiene instrucciones que son diseñadas para producir, tras la ejecución por parte de la computadora de control, la generación de por lo menos una parte de la incisión (42) que se origina desde la superficie posterior (48) de la córnea, el contorno en sección transversal de la incisión - cuando se observa en la dirección desde la superficie anterior a la superficie posterior - se desvía desde una línea recta (60) perpendicular a la superficie del ojo; de acuerdo con una modalidad preferida, el contorno en sección transversal de la incisión exhibe varias porciones rectilíneas (50 52, 54) que se siguen una a la otra en una forma de un patrón en zigzag y se separan por pares en cada caso por una flexión aguda (56, 58).
