Abstract
La presente invención se refiere a un método para incrementar el área de la lámina de la hoja, número de hojas, cobertura de parcela, área de roseta, diámetro de roseta, área foliar, cobertura radicular y/o longitud de la raíz de una planta comparada con una planta control de la misma especie bajo las mismas condiciones de crecimiento, que comprende: (a) expresar dentro de la planta un polinucleótido exógeno que comprende una secuencia de ácido nucleico que codifica un polipéptido que exhibe al menos 95% de identidad de secuencia global con la SEQ ID NO: 553 y que tiene sustitución(es) de aminoácidos conservativos con respecto a los aminoácidos mostrados en la SEQ ID NO: 553; y (b) seleccionar plantas que expresa el polinucleótido exógeno para una característica incrementada seleccionada del grupo que consiste de: área de la lámina de la hoja, número de hojas, cobertura de parcela, área de roseta, diámetro de roseta, área foliar, cobertura radicular y longitud de la raíz comparada con una planta control de la misma especie bajo las mismas condiciones de crecimiento, incrementado con ello el área de la lámina de la hoja, número de hojas, cobertura de parcela, área de roseta, diámetro de roseta, área foliar, cobertura radicular y/o longitud de la raíz de la planta.
