Abstract

Un aparato para generar una señal de dos canales descodificada, comprende: un procesador de audio (802) para decodificar una señal de dos canales codificada, para obtener un primer conjunto de primeras porciones espectrales; un descodificador paramétrico (804) para proporcionar datos paramétricos para un segundo conjunto de segundas porciones espectrales y una identificación de dos canales que identifica ya sea una primera o una segunda diferente representación de dos canales para las segundas porciones espectrales; y un regenerador de frecuencia (806) para regenerar una segunda porción espectral que depende de una primera porción espectral del primer conjunto de primeras porciones espectrales, los datos paramétricos para la segunda porción y la identificación de dos canales para la segunda porción.
