Abstract
Se describen un sistema y métodos para dirigir el condensado recogido en un reservorio de intercambiador de calor ya sea a una cámara de combustión de un motor o una posición en el escape del motor en función del tipo de contaminante en el condensado y los parámetros de funcionamiento del motor o el catalizador. En un ejemplo particular, el método incluye acumular una porción de aire comprimido en un acumulador, y cuando la potencia del motor está por debajo de una cantidad predeterminada, conectar una parte del aire acumulado con el condensado a través de un pasaje en la cámara de combustión. De este modo, los métodos descritos se pueden utilizar para distribuir el condensado formado en el intercambiador de calor incluso a bajas cargas del motor.
