Abstract

El propósito de la presente invención es extender de manera más eficiente, utilizando una velocidad de baja separación, el ancho de banda de las señales de entrada que tienen una estructura de grandes armónicos, con el propósito de obtener una mejor calidad de audio. La presente invención es instalada en un dispositivo que extiende el ancho de banda para la codificación y decodificación de una señal acústica. Esta nueva codificación de la extensión de ancho de banda identifica un componente de espectro de baja frecuencia que tiene la correlación más alta con una señal de ancho de banda de alta frecuencia entre las señales de entrada, duplica el espectro de alta frecuencia mediante el ajuste de energía del componente y mantiene la relación armónica entre el espectro de baja frecuencia y el espectro duplicado de alta frecuencia ajustando la posición de pico espectral del espectro duplicado de alta frecuencia, en función de la frecuencia armónica estimada a partir de un espectro compuesto de baja frecuencia.
