Abstract
Se describen las composiciones de recubrimiento anticorrosivas que comprenden un polímero aglutinante y un pigmento inhibidor de la corrosión de fosfato de aluminio amorfo. La composición comprende de aproximadamente 1 a 25 por ciento en peso de fosfato de aluminio amorfo. El fosfato de aluminio amorfo tiene un potencial de adsorción de agua de hasta aproximadamente 25 por ciento en peso de agua. La composición proporciona una distribución de fosfato controlada de aproximadamente 50 a 500 ppm, y preferentemente de aproximadamente 100 a 200 ppm. La composición tiene un contenido total de materiales solubles de menos de aproximadamente 1500 ppm. El fosfato de aluminio amorfo está preferentemente sustancialmente libre de metales alcalinos. El fosfato de aluminio amorfo es elaborado mediante la combinación del hidróxido de aluminio con ácido fosfórico y aluminato de sodio. El fosfato de aluminio amorfo es tratado para reducir el nivel de materiales solubles no deseados, y el fosfato de aluminio amorfo tratado es secado de al menos de aproximadamente 300°C.
