Abstract

La presente invención se relaciona con un dispositivo para la contracción de una película contraíble (1) sobre una pila de productos (2), siendo que se provee un marco de contracción (3) que puede desplazarse en la pila de productos y que rodea la pila de productos durante la contracción de la película contraíble. El marco de contracción tiene una pluralidad de unidades de calentamiento distribuidas sobre la circunferencia del marco de contracción para el calentamiento de la película contraíble para el proceso de contracción. Se tiene además una tabla de cubierta (6) que cubre la pila de productos y que está dispuesta en particular a una distancia de la cara superior (7) de la pila de productos durante el proceso de contracción. Se proveen unas paredes laterales (11) que se extienden a lo largo de la pila de productos entre el marco de contracción y la tabla de cubierta, y se forman unos intersticios entre la pila de productos y las paredes laterales para que los gases calentados fluyan arriba. La tabla de cubierta puede desplazarse en dirección a la cara superior de la pila de productos y se puede desplazar en dirección opuesta a la cara superior de la pila de productos. Las paredes laterales forman un marco, en particular un marco rígido, y la tabla de cubierta puede desplazarse dentro del marco referido.
