Abstract
Se proporcionan diversas modalidades de un controlador de vehículo de remolque y métodos para el control del freno de un vehículo remolcado. En una modalidad de la presente invención, un controlador de vehículo de remolque para proporcionar control del freno de un vehículo remolcado incluye: una entrada de controlador para recibir una señal de carga indicativa de una carga de una combinación de vehículo de remolque y remolcado; una entrada de controlador para recibir una señal de estabilidad indicativa de por lo menos una de una señal de índice de oscilación, una señal de ángulo de dirección y una aceleración lateral del vehículo de remolque; y una entrada de controlador para recibir una señal de desaceleración indicativa de una solicitud de desaceleración automatizada. La lógica de control es capaz de determinar un valor de comparación previo a la recepción de la señal de desaceleración y después de la recepción de la señal de carga y la señal de estabilidad, en donde la determinación del valor de comparación se basa en la señal de carga y la señal de estabilidad recibidas.
