Abstract
La presente invención se refiere a una instalación para la producción de acero (1) y a un método de producción de acero ininterrumpida o al menos cíclica en dicha instalación (1), en donde, en el caso de producción de acero ininterrumpida, se utilizarán al menos las primeras tres de las siguientes etapas, y en el caso de producción de acero cíclica, todas las cinco etapas: - los materiales de carga se funden ininterrumpidamente o al menos cíclicamente en un horno de arco eléctrico (10); - los materiales de carga, tales como en particular trozos de chatarra de hierro triturada (71), triturada en un sistema de trituración (40) para triturar desechos de hierro y/o de acero desechados (chatarra 70), hierro por reducción directa (DRI) y/o hierro aglomerado en caliente (HBI) se alimentan ininterrumpidamente o al menos continuamente durante un ciclo del proceso de fusión en el horno de arco eléctrico (10) por medios de transporte (50, 51,...); - una parte del acero líquido se descarga ininterrumpida o cíclicamente desde el baño de acero del horno de arco eléctrico (10); - a partir de la energía térmica incluida en la descarga del proceso térmico (parte superior del horno 20) del horno de arco eléctrico (10), se genera energía eléctrica, por medio de generación de energía (30, 31, 32), ininterrumpidamente o al menos durante un ciclo del proceso de fusión; - un sistema de trituración (40) asignado al horno de arco eléctrico (10) para triturar los desechos de hierro y/o de acero desechados (chatarra 70) se alimenta ininterrumpidamente o al menos durante un ciclo del proceso de fusión por medio de la energía eléctrica generada de la descarga del proceso (parte superior del horno 20) . La presente instalación para la producción de acero (1), que establece nuevos estándares en términos del balance de energía total con respecto a la productividad y el ahorro de energía, continúa consistentemente la tendencia de los últimos años.
