Abstract

Se especifica un dispositivo y un método para la detección de señales de luz dispersada. Una fuente de luz (10) expone un área de luz dispersada (15) en la cual las partículas pueden estar presentes a la luz. Con el objetivo de reducir costos y mejorar la precisión de detección, el dispositivo (100) comprende una pluralidad de sensores ópticos (21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, 30) para detectar la luz dispersada y una unidad de evaluación para la evaluación de las señales detectadas por los sensores ópticos, en donde cada uno de los sensores (21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, 30) están dispuestos en un ángulo del sensor (W1, W2, W3, W4 , W5, W6, W7, W8, W9, W10) con respecto al eje de incidencia (11) de la luz incidente a fin de detectar la luz dispersada del área de la luz dispersada, en donde uno de la pluralidad dé sensores ópticos (21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, 30) es un sensor de referencia, y en donde la unidad de evaluación está diseñada para relacionar los perfiles de señal de los otros sensores ópticos con el perfil de señal del sensor de referencia, en donde los perfiles de señal de los sensores ópticos (21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, 30) sirven para clasificar cualquier partículas que pueda estar presente en el área de la luz dispersada (15).
