Abstract
Se describe un método para hacer una composición de aglutinante cementoso de peso liviano con resistencia a la compresión mejorada para productos tales como paneles cementosos. El método mezcla ceniza volante, sal de metal alcalino de ácido cítrico, silicato de metal alcalino, agente espumante para arrastre de aire, agua y en la modalidad preferida un agente estabilizador de espuma. Las composiciones incluyen ceniza volante seleccionada del grupo que consiste en ceniza volante clase C, ceniza volante clase F y mezclas de las mismas, sales de metal alcalino de ácido cítrico, silicatos de metal alcalino, agentes espumantes y preferiblemente un estabilizador de espuma, tal como alcohol polivinílico, y no requieren el uso de retardantes de fraguado. Composiciones que contienen ceniza volante clase F pueden contener opcionalmente cemento Portland Tipo III.
