Abstract
Un dispositivo de interrupción de circuito que tiene un circuito auto-monitoreo para probar automáticamente diversas funciones y estructuras del dispositivo. El circuito de auto-monitoreo inicia una rutina de auto-monitoreo que, entre otras cosas, establece una falla de auto-prueba ya sea durante la media-onda positiva o negativa, o ambas, de un ciclo de potencia de CA y determina si los mecanismos de detección dentro del dispositivo detectan adecuadamente la falla de auto-prueba.
