Abstract
Un aparato para medir la presión sanguínea de manera no invasiva y un método de medición de la misma. Un cuerpo principal (1) está provisto con un microprocesador conectado con un detector de presión. Un brazalete presurizado (2) es un brazalete con un globo con un tubo de gas, el cual se conecta con el detector de presión y sujeta a una porción del cuerpo en la cual el flujo sanguíneo de una arteria de un sujeto puede ser bloqueado completamente después de inflar el globo. El brazalete presurizado (2) está provisto con un detector de ondas de impulso (3) fijo a una porción corriente abajo del brazalete presurizado (2) de acuerdo con la dirección del flujo sanguíneo de la arteria. El microprocesador efectúa un proceso en tiempo real a varias amplitudes de ondas de impulso, las cuales son detectadas por el detector de ondas de impulso (3) y se incrementa lentamente desde cero y las presiones correspondientes del brazalete presurizado para determinar una presión sanguínea sistólica; y también el microprocesador efectúa un proceso en tiempo real a varios periodos de retraso de impulso, los cuales son los periodos de retraso entre las ondas de impulso y las señales alternativas de presión correspondientes y de variable a relativamente constante y las presiones correspondientes del brazalete presurizado para determinar una presión sanguínea diastólica. Los posibles e inevitables errores causados por la discontinuidad de los latidos del corazón pueden ser evitados por una conversión de los eventos discontinuos a una medición continua. La presión sanguínea sistólica y la presión sanguínea diastólica de la presión sanguínea pueden ser medidas de manera exacta y no invasiva.
