Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a un método para la síntesis y dopaje de nanotubos de carbono (CNTs por sus siglas en inglés). El método de la invención permite la producción de nanotubos de manera económica y libre de carbón amorfo, dando lugar a que la purificación de los mismos sea solo del catalizador, cuyo procedimiento requiere únicamente de algunos lavados con ácidos comerciales en baja concentración. Igualmente, este proceso permite el dopaje de los nanotubos de carbono con diferentes elementos dopantes durante y después del crecimiento.
