Abstract
La presente invención se refiere a un proceso de eliminación de bioincrustación o prevención de bioincrustación o desinfección en un volumen de un líquido acuoso sobre una superficie en contacto con un líquido acuoso, caracterizado porque comprende las etapas de: i) proporcionar una composición acuosa, en donde la composición acuosa es una solución de reserva antiincrustación o biocida que contiene urea y una fuente de halógeno activa, en donde la fuente de halógeno activa comprende una fuente de bromo activa, la fuente de bromo activa comprende un oxidante en donde el oxidante comprende un hipoclorito, en donde la relación molar urea/halógeno es al menos 1/1, la concentración de halógeno medida como cloro activo es de 1,000 ppm a 100,000 ppm, y el pH de la composición acuosa es menor a 4; y ii) poner en contacto el volumen o la superficie con la solución de reserva o con una dilución acuosa de la misma, en donde dicha solución de reserva está libre de sulfato y libre de álcali cáustico, y es estable en almacenamiento prolongado hasta dos años.
