Abstract
La presente invención se refiere a métodos para identificar cepas de pepino, que tienen resistencia incrementada al mildeu algodonoso, y a identificación de marcadores genéticos enlazados al gen o a los genes que condicionan tal resistencia incrementada a la enfermedad; la presente invención se refiere también a métodos para cultivar plantas del pepino, partir de cepas que tienen resistencia incrementada al mildeu algodonoso, mediante la selección auxiliada con marcadores, a composiciones que incluyen sonda o iniciadores de ácido nucleico que son útiles para tal selección auxiliada con marcadores, y a plantas y partes de las plantas, producidas mediante tales métodos.
