Abstract

La presente invención se refiere a métodos para identificar líneas de pepino que tienen resistencia incrementada al mildiú, y la identificación de marcadores genéticos ligados a genes que condicionan dicha resistencia incrementada a la enfermedad; la presente invención se refiere también a métodos de mejoramiento genético de plantas de pepino a partir de líneas que tienen resistencia incrementada al mildiú mediante selección asistida por marcadores, composiciones que incluyen sondas o iniciadores de ácido nucleico que son útiles para dicha selección asistida por marcadores, y plantas y partes de la planta producidas mediante dichos métodos.
