Abstract
Se divulga un acero al silicio no orientado y un método de producción para éste; el acero al silicio no orientado se prepara mediante desulfuración de hierro fundido, fundición de convertidor, refinación RH, fundición continua, laminación en caliente, laminación continua con ácido, recocido, recubrimiento y acabado; los componentes químicos del acero al silicio no orientado, en porcentaje en masa, son: C=0.003 %; S=0.008 %; Si: 0.35 %+?1; Mn: 0.15 a 0.25 %; P: 0.04 a 0.06 %; Sn: 0.015 %+?2; Nb=0.004 %; V=0.004 %; Ti=0.005 %; Mo=0.004 %; Cr=0.03 %; Ni=0.03 %; Cu=0.03 %; N= 0.003 %; el resto es Fe e impurezas inevitables; cuando el espesor del acero al silicio no orientado es de 0.5 mm, P1.5/50=5.5 W/kg y B5000=1.75, y la refinación RH no requiere tratamiento de desulfuración.
