Abstract
Un copolímero de etileno que comprende etileno y por lo menos una alfa olefina que tiene desde 4 a 8 átomos de carbono, tiene una densidad desde 0.940 a 0.960 g/cm3, una distribución en peso molecular, Mw/Mn desde 9 a 12, y un peso molecular promedio Z, Mz superior a 500,000. El copolímero de etileno se produce en un sistema de reactor de múltiples zonas bajo condiciones de polimerización en fase de solución y es útil en la preparación de películas de polietileno orientado biaxialmente (BOPE).
