Abstract

Se describe un método para mejorar la eficiencia de una línea de llenado de productos farmacéuticos haciendo funcionar la línea de llenado a una velocidad de producción incrementada; el método involucra el uso de viales de vidrio que han sido reforzados y recubiertos para reducir el coeficiente de fricción de la superficie exterior de los viales con una línea de llenado de productos farmacéuticos configurada a una velocidad mayor o igual a 600 viales por minuto y funcionando con una eficiencia de al menos el 70%; en otras modalidades de la invención, la línea de llenado de productos farmacéuticos también puede estar provista de un recubrimiento químico de polímero en los puntos de contacto con los viales de vidrio, lo que reduce aún más la fricción entre los viales y los puntos de contacto y los efectos del impacto de los viales con puntos de contacto de la línea de llenado de productos farmacéuticos.
