Abstract

Un controlador de freno en un vehículo determina los perfiles de frenado que se pueden ejercer mientras se opera el vehículo en condiciones autónomas o semiautónomas para desacelerar el vehículo con base en los comandos recibidos o que se pueden ejercer automáticamente en caso de falla en una red de comunicación del vehículo o en otros sistemas o componentes del vehículo. Los perfiles de frenado desaceleran el vehículo de acuerdo a un perfil de deceleración. La ejecución del perfil de desaceleración puede ser iniciada por un único mensaje de comando recibido por el controlador de freno o puede ser determinada por el controlador de freno con base en la información del vehículo. Los dispositivos de control pueden preseleccionar un perfil de desaceleración de estado seguro antes de que ocurra una falla o una situación de emergencia, y luego ejecutarlo por el controlador de freno al ocurrir una falla o una situación de emergencia.
