Abstract
La presente descripción incluye el uso de un inhibidor de miARN para el tratamiento de una enfermedad o afección asociadas con un nivel disminuido de proteína SIRT1, PGC-1a, CD36, LRRK2, NRG1, STMN2, VLDLR, NRXN1, GRIA4, NXPH1, PSD-95 y/o sinaptofisina, o de expresión génica de SIRT1, PGC-1a, CD36, LRRK2, NRG1, STMN2, VLDLR, NRXN1, GRIA4, NXPH1, PSD-95 y/o sinaptofisina. En algunos aspectos, el inhibidor de miARN puede usarse para tratar una enfermedad o afección asociadas con un nivel aumentado de proteína o de expresión génica de caspasa-3. El inhibidor de miARN útil para la presente descripción puede inhibir la expresión y/o actividad de miR 485, que a su vez puede aumentar el nivel de proteína o expresión génica de SIRT1, PGC-1a, CD36, LRRK2, NRG1, STMN2, VLDLR, NRXN1, GRIA4, NXPH1, PSD-95 y/o sinaptofisina; y/o disminuir el nivel de proteína o expresión génica de caspasa 3.
