Abstract

Un método para la formación de un tereftalato de polialquileno (PAT) multimodal puede incluir: proporcionar una alimentación de un PAT de bajo peso molecular (LMW), el PAT LMW que tiene un peso molecular promedio bajo; proporcionar una alimentación de PAT de alto peso molecular (HMW), el PAT HMW tiene un peso molecular promedio alto, en donde el peso molecular promedio bajo es inferior al peso molecular promedio alto; mezclar la alimentación de PAT LMW con la alimentación de PAT HMW en un mezclador para formar un PAT multimodal; y proporcionar el PAT multimodal como salida.
