Abstract
Se divulga proceso para la elaboración de producto metálico con propiedades biocidas, y primero comprende anodizar un producto que tenga al menos una superficie metálica (por ejemplo aluminio, acero) utilizando una densidad de corriente controlada para formar poros sobre las superficies con densidad espacial y profundidad controladas. El proceso también comprende contactar las superficies metálicas anodizadas con una primera solución biocida antes de sellar los. De preferencia, las superficies metálicas pueden ser contactadas nuevamente con la primera solución biocida después del paso de sellado. También se divulga un método para reactivar propiedades biocidas de los productos metálicos, y comprende contactar nuevamente el producto biocida con una segunda solución biocida. De preferencia, la segunda solución es menos concentrada que la primera solución para propósitos de seguridad. La invención proporciona un proceso más simple, más rápido, más económico y mejorado para tratar o reactivar las superficies metálicas para obtener un producto metálico que tiene propiedades biocidas duraderas y superiores.
