Abstract
Un artículo recubierto incluye un recubrimiento de baja emisividad (baja E) soportado por un sustrato de vidrio. El recubrimiento de baja E incluye al menos una capa(s) reflectante(s) de infrarrojos (IR) a base de plata (Ag) que se proporciona adyacente a y en contacto con al menos una capa de contacto de o que incluye Ag, Ni y Cr. Se ha descubierto que la provisión de una(s) capa(s) de contacto que incluye(n) al menos Ag, Ni y Cr, directamente encima y en contacto con una capa reflectante de IR a base de plata, aumenta ventajosamente la transmisión visible (Tvis) del recubrimiento de baja E. Tales recubrimientos de baja E pueden usarse en aplicaciones tales como ventanas monolíticas, unidades de ventana de vidrio aislante (IG), y lo similar.
