Abstract
Un artículo recubierto que incluye un recubrimiento de baja emisividad (baja E) que tiene al menos una capa reflectante de infrarrojo (IR) de un material tal como plata, oro, o lo similar, y al menos una capa de índice refractante alto de o que incluye óxido de titanio y al menos un metal adicional. Una(s) capa(s) de óxido de titanio dopado está(n) diseñada(s) y depositada(s) de una manera que sea(n) amorfa(s) o sustancialmente amorfa(s) (en oposición a cristalina(s)) en el recubrimiento de baja E, para soportar mejor el tratamiento térmico (HT, por sus siglas en inglés) opcional, tal como templado térmico y opacidad reducida. La capa de alto índice puede ser una capa de alto índice dieléctrico transparente en modalidades preferidas, que puede proporcionarse para fines de antirreflexión y/o fines de ajuste de color, además de tener estabilidad térmica.
