Abstract
La presente invención se refiere a un elemento distribuidor para distribuir uniformemente un primer fluido en un plano de sección transversal o elemento colector para recoger un primer fluido que se distribuye en un plano de sección transversal, en donde un segundo fluido principal fluye a favor de la corriente y/o a contracorriente con respecto al primer fluido a través del elemento distribuidor, en donde el elemento distribuidor comprende al menos tres placas que están dispuestas al menos sustancialmente paralelas entre sí, en donde se define un nivel entre cada una de dos placas adyacentes, en donde cada una de las placas comprende un número de aberturas, en donde en cada uno de los niveles se disponen paredes, cada una de las cuales se extiende desde un lado de una placa hasta el lado adyacente de una placa adyacente de manera que cada pared define un canal a través del cual fluirá el segundo fluido principal, en donde los canales conectan de forma hermética a los fluidos todas las aberturas entre placas adyacentes, en donde en cada uno de los niveles entre las paredes que definen los canales se forman uno o más espacios huecos, a través de los cuales puede fluir el primer fluido, en donde cada una de las placas comprende al menos una apertura que no está conectada de forma hermética a los fluidos con una o más aberturas de una placa adyacente por un canal y que está dispuesta adyacente a uno de los uno o más espacios huecos del(de los) nivel(es) adyacente(s) de modo que en cada nivel entre las aperturas de las placas adyacentes se extienden al menos dos trayectorias de fluido en el uno o más espacios huecos del nivel, en donde todas de las al menos dos trayectorias de fluido de cada nivel tienen sustancialmente la misma longitud, y en donde el número de trayectorias de fluido aumenta, visto en la dirección desde una placa más externa a la placa más externa opuesta, al menos para el 75 % de las placas de nivel a nivel.
