Abstract
En general, la presente invención se refiere a un sistema para el tratamiento de agua o aguas residuales, en donde el sistema está diseñado para una velocidad de flujo máxima, el sistema incluye dos o más tanques de reactor, cada uno de los dos o más tanques de reactor tiene una capacidad menor que la velocidad de flujo máxima, y tienen una capacidad combinada para alcanzar o exceder la velocidad de flujo máxima, cada tanque de reactor se conecta fluídicamente a un tanque de clarificación, los tanques de reactor reciben un afluente, y entregan un efluente; y un tanque de clarificación diseñado para alcanzar o exceder la velocidad de flujo máxima, el tanque de clarificación recibe el efluente proveniente de los dos o más tanques de reactor.
