Abstract
Un objeto es proporcionar un método de soldadura por puntos de resistencia y un método para producir una unión de soldadura por puntos de resistencia. La presente invención proporciona un método de soldadura por puntos de resistencia para unir dos o más láminas de acero, incluyendo al menos una lámina de acero con una resistencia a la tracción de 980 MPa o superior. El método de soldadura por puntos de resistencia consiste en colocar las láminas de acero una encima de otra para formar un conjunto de láminas de acero a soldar, sujetar el conjunto de láminas de acero con un par de electrodos, y hacer pasar una corriente a través de las láminas de acero mientras se aplica presión a las mismas para unir las láminas de acero. El método de soldadura por puntos de resistencia incluye un paso de soldadura inicial en donde se hace pasar una corriente I1 (kA) que satisface 2 x vF1 < l1 = 10 x vF1 mientras se aplica una fuerza de soldadura F1 (kN) que satisface 0.2 x vt1 < F1 = 4 x vt1, y un paso de soldadura principal en donde se forma una pepita con un diámetro de pepita predeterminado. Las salpicaduras se producen en el paso de soldadura inicial.
