Abstract
Las modalidades en la presente están dirigidas a métodos de cultivo heterótrofo. Las modalidades en la presente están dirigidas a métodos, sistemas y biorreactores para cultivar heterotróficamente un microorganismo Euglena sp., un microorganismo Schizochytrium sp. o un microorganismo Chlorella sp. que comprende: cultivar el microorganismo en un medio de cultivo que contiene una o más fuentes de carbono, una o más fuentes de nitrógeno y una o más sales; mantener un pH entre aproximadamente 2.0 y aproximadamente 4.0; mantener una temperatura de aproximadamente 20ºC a aproximadamente 30ºC; y mantener un ambiente sustancialmente sin luz; en donde el cultivo se presenta en tres etapas de cultivo.
