Se provee un sistema de apoyo al cultivo de animales acuáticos que puede adquirir fácilmente información con respecto a animales acuáticos tales como camarones en un estanque de cultivo. Un sistema de apoyo al cultivo de animales acuáticos 1 incluye: una unidad de adquisición de imagen capturada 151 que adquiere una imagen capturada obtenida al capturar una imagen de un dispositivo de recolección 20 que fue movido hacia arriba de un estanque de cultivo de animales acuáticos, usando una cámara 30; una unidad de análisis de imagen 155 que analiza la imagen capturada adquirida por la unidad de adquisición de imagen capturada 151 y una unidad de adquisición de información de animales acuáticos 157 que adquiere información de animales acuáticos con respecto a animales acuáticos en el estanque de cultivo, en base al resultado de análisis de la unidad de análisis de imagen 155.
