Abstract
La presente invención se refiere a un proceso para la producción de 2,2,6,6-tetrametil-4-piperidona, que comprende particularmente (i) proporcionar un reactor que contiene un catalizador que comprende un material zeolítico que tiene una estructura de marco de FAU, en donde el material zeolítico comprende YO2 y X2O3 en su estructura de marco, en donde Y es un elemento tetravalente y X es un elemento trivalente, en donde el material zeolítico tiene una relación molar de YO2 con respecto a X2O3 de 16 a 175; (ii) preparar una mezcla de reacción que comprende acetona y amoníaco; (iii) poner en contacto el catalizador en el reactor con la mezcla de reacción preparada en (ii) a una temperatura en el rango de 40 a 250°C para obtener un producto de reacción que comprende 2,2,6,6-tetrametil-4-piperidona; en donde la mezcla preparada en (ii) y puesta en contacto con el catalizador en (iii) contiene menos de 10% en peso de agua en función de 100% en peso de la mezcla de reacción.
