Abstract
Un sistema de haz de electrones inducido por aceleración de campo activo láser (LWFA) para la terapia y el diagnóstico del cáncer; las modalidades de ejemplo presentadas en este documento incluyen una o más fibras láser, y una fuente de haz de electrones dentro de una de las una o más fibras láser, en donde la fuente de haz de electrones incluye una fuente de pulso de láser, un objetivo de plasma, un conjunto de ópticas que interponen la fuente de pulso de láser y el objetivo de plasma adaptado para enfocar un pulso de láser generado por la fuente de pulso láser sobre el objetivo de plasma, en donde la interacción del pulso de láser con el objetivo de plasma induce la generación de un haz de electrones; en varias modalidades presentadas en el presente documento, los electrones de alta energía del haz de electrones interactúan con un material de alta Z para generar rayos X.
