Abstract
Se describe un recubrimiento fotocatalítico transparente para la generación in situ de radicales libres que combaten microbios, olores y compuestos orgánicos en luz visible, que presenta un material catalítico que comprende un dopante y que tiene una distribución de tamaño de partícula adecuada para el confinamiento de excitones para cambiar acumulativamente el proceso fotocatalítico a rango de luz visible; además, la presente invención presenta un método para producir el material fotocatalítico descrito en este documento; además, la presente invención describe un método de aplicación del revestimiento fotocatalítico a la superficie de un lugar; finalmente, la presente invención se caracteriza por utilizar el revestimiento fotocatalítico para eliminar contaminantes y microorganismos en el lugar.
