Abstract

La presente invención está dirigida a composiciones formadoras de película que comprenden: a) un polímero de poliolefina lineal no clorado que comprende de 0.5 a 10 por ciento en peso de residuos de un anhídrido o ácido etilénicamente insaturado; b) un aminoplasto; y c) un componente que comprende: i) al menos un hidrocarburo no clorado que tiene al menos 18 átomos de carbono y opcionalmente grupos aromáticos y/o heteroátomos de oxígeno; y/o ii) una resina alquídica; la presente invención también se refiere a métodos para mejorar resistencia al combustible de un artículo recubierto, que comprende: (1) aplicar la composición formadora de película a un sustrato para formar un sustrato recubierto; (2) opcionalmente someter el sustrato recubierto a una temperatura durante un tiempo suficiente para curar la composición formadora de película; (3) aplicar al menos una composición formadora de película curable al sustrato recubierto para formar un sustrato recubierto multicapa; y (4) someter el sustrato recubierto multicapa a una temperatura y durante un tiempo suficiente para curar todas las composiciones formadoras de película.
