Abstract

Un método para la eliminación de al menos un contaminante de un licor acuoso o un gas, que comprende: preparar una solución o lechada de un reactivo alcalino sólido proporcionando un reactivo alcalino sólido a una cámara de prehumectación mediante una tubería de suministro; proporcionar un líquido a través de dos o más corrientes laterales de líquido, cada una a través de una entrada de líquido colocada en una pared lateral de la cámara para permitir que las corrientes laterales de líquido laven una pared interna de una sección troncocónica de la cámara y fluyan, de manera preferente tangencialmente sobre la pared interna en forma de espiral descendente para formar así un vórtice, hacia una salida de fluido de la cámara y para humedecer aún más el reactivo alcalino sólido con el líquido proporcionado, para formar así un reactivo prehumedecido; y hacer fluir una corriente a través de un conducto, para que así el eductor cree una succión para extraer el reactivo prehumedecido de la salida de fluido de la cámara y mezclarlo con la corriente para formar una suspensión o solución; y dirigir la lechada o solución que abandona el eductor a una unidad de tratamiento de licor o gas acuoso, para eliminar al menos una porción del contaminante del licor acuoso o gas en la unidad de tratamiento.
