Abstract
La invención se refiere a un método para cargar un dispositivo de procesamiento con un perfil de cordón que va a ser suministrado al dispositivo de procesamiento y en el cual el dispositivo de procesamiento, procesa para formar sellos o tiras de protección de bordes en el cuerpo del vehículo al cortar porciones de cordón y conectar las porciones de cordón al cuerpo del vehículo, en donde el perfil de cordón se suministra en dirección del cordón longitudinal desde una unidad de entrega utilizado para transportar el perfil de cordón a la ubicación de procesamiento mientras se desenrolla de un devanado contenido en la unidad de entrega. De conformidad con la invención, el perfil de cordón es desenrollado como perfil de cordón de mano derecha que se aplica al cuerpo del vehículo, a la derecha, comenzando con uno de dos extremos de cordón, o como un perfil de cordón de mano izquierda, que es aplicado al cuerpo del vehículo a la izquierda, comenzando con el otro extremo de cordón. La invención, además, se refiere a una unidad de entrega y un soporte de devanado para llevar a cabo el método.
