Abstract
Se describen sistemas y métodos para sugerir un codificador en que servidor monitorear información relacionada con cambios en renderización del cuadro, calcular límites de tolerancia, tiempo de cuadro promedio acumulado y/o tendencias a corto plazo en tiempo de cuadro, al usar aquellos cálculos para identificar un pico de tiempo de cuadro; el servidor entonces sugiere a un códec (codificador) modular los ajustes de calidad de salida de cuadro en proporción al tamaño del pico de tiempo de cuadro; en ciertas modalidades, un renderizador registra una o más recorridos en un ambiente de juego, clasifica una pluralidad de cuadros de uno o más recorridos en una pluralidad de celdas en un mapa térmico, y recolecta la lista de cuadros clasificados; un códec entonces puede codificar uno o más cuadros de la lista de cuadros clasificados para calcular un tamaño de cuadro codificado promedio para cada celda en el mapa térmico, y asociar cada tamaño de cuadro codificado promedio con un ajuste de calidad decodificador normalizado por celda.
