Abstract
La presente invención se refiere a un proceso para elaborar un compuesto elastomérico vulcanizable para neumáticos, caracterizado por el uso de un relleno activador de vulcanización particular y por los métodos de adición de aditivos, en particular el agente compatibilizante (silano), que se produce solo después de la finalización de la reacción entre el relleno activador que comprende zinc y el ácido graso (ácido esteárico). El presente proceso, ventajoso en sí mismo por la posible reducción de los tiempos y de la energía requerida para la vulcanización, permite preparar compuestos que, con los mismos rendimientos que los tradicionales, pueden tener un contenido reducido de zinc, y en consecuencia una menor liberación de los mismos de los neumáticos durante su uso a nivel ambiental.
