Abstract
Se presenta en la presente una celda voltaica que contiene antenas que capturan luz u otras estructuras que generan electrones de base biológica, opcionalmente en una población microbiana, una población de sifón de electrones que tiene propiedades conductoras de electrones con sifones individuales configurados para aceptar electrones de las antenas que capturan luz y transportar los electrones a un colector de corriente, un sistema de dirección de luz opcional (por ejemplo, un espejo), y un regulador que tiene propiedades de retroalimentación detectoras y reguladoras para la conversión de energía fotobioquímica y energía bioquímica a electricidad.
